A resident of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Brian Stertzer is a retired entrepreneur with more than three decades of diverse experience. He most recently served as managing director of asset management at WealthStone, where he led the asset management team across all portfolio management functions and oversaw strategic asset allocation for more than 300 clients throughout the United States. He had previously worked with the firm as a partner and contract consultant under its former name, Professional Planning Consultants, and was responsible for leading the company’s investment division.
One of his major accomplishments was the creation and ongoing development of WealthStone's Armada multi-advisor investment solution, designed for endowments, foundations, family offices, and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Brian Stertzer prepared for his career by earning a bachelor of arts in accounting from Capital University of Ohio and receiving designations as both a Certified Financial Planner and Certified Public Accountant. He began his career while still in school as a staff accountant for Ernst & Ernst and later held positions such as sales representative for Abbott Laboratories and sole owner of a human resources company generating $100 million in annual sales. Over the years, Mr. Stertzer developed a wide range of professional and leadership skills, including leading a private charity and serving on numerous nonprofit boards. He has been a resident of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, since 2009.
